Employee of the Month - June 2024

I spent the month of June, 2024, anchoring both of TV6’s news casts on Sundays (6 p.m. and 11p.m.) and filling in during the week on Night Report (10 p.m.) and the Late News (11 p.m.) while some of our anchors got some vacation time in! The anchoring and producing experience It's hard to put into words the amount of anchoring and producing experience I gained in that month alone! With that, I was absolutely honored to be selected as TV6’s Employee of the Month for June 2024! 

Michigan Association of Broadcast Excellence Awards (MABs) - 2024

I'm so elated to share I won Best Use of New Media from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters in the Broadcast Excellence Awards, along with the talented MK DiVirgilio and Elizabeth Peterson! I also won Merit for the same category with my submission showcasing the many endeavors of the TV6 Digital Desk! 

I cannot even begin to explain how grateful I am to be recognized in this way! If I'm being honest, I'm only a year into the industry and never thought I would receive this honor. I'm overjoyed to say the least, and I can't wait to see the what comes in year two!
